Born in France, my passion for analog electronics began in my teenage years when I first tinkered with a vintage amplifier. That moment ignited a journey of crafting DIY guitar amps, pedals, and Hi-Fi gear—each project driven by a relentless pursuit of the best sound. This passion guided me further, and in 2015, I graduated as an Analog Electronic Engineer.

I then joined Focal, where I spent five years contributing to some of the most respected professional studio monitors, like the Shape, Trio11, and Alpha Evo. My time there deepened my technical expertise, further trained my ears, and reinforced my appreciation for the precision and artistry behind well-tuned designs.

Moving to Austria, I joined Lewitt and embraced the challenge of developing groundbreaking microphones. This journey led to innovations like the Pure Tube, celebrated as the quietest tube-only mic on the market.

For over a decade, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding and enhancing audio gear, from restoring vintage treasures to refining modern devices.

As a guitarist, I’ve always been drawn to the rich tones of tube amplifiers. Yet, I felt the market was saturated with familiar reissues, sparking my desire to create something new.

Driven by this vision, De Cillia Amplification was born in 2024. Its mission is to craft amplifiers that honor the soulful essence of vintage sound while embracing modern innovation, giving musicians the tools to explore new sonic possibilities without sacrificing authenticity.
